ANGELA BIANCHI
Angela Bianchi
Curatorial Committee
Based in Milan and dubbed as 'The Diversity Stylist' for her awareness and information on diversity and inclusion in the fashion and lifestyle industry, Angela is the founder of VirgoImage. She has been an image consultant and personal shopper for almost 15 years and has satisfied the needs of over 5000 customers in that time. She is one of the founders The Future of Fashion Inclusion conferences and is a columnist for Divercity Magazine.
Bianchi styled American Disability Advocate Judy Heumann for the 2021 Oscars awards (the first Oscars ceremony to have an access ramp following Heumann’s film, Crip Camp's, nomination for Best Documentary) and collaborated with Lachi and Zazel Chavah O’Garra in 2020 on the multi-award-winning video, The Bigger Plans.
In quarantine, she launched #ShopInYourWardrobe, a challenge designed to utilize one’s wardrobe as if it were a store, to promote and increase self-esteem and sustainable fashion at home during a difficult time.
She is a strong voice for inclusion and accessibility and is fascinated by the juxtaposition of shapes and colours. She believes that the luxury of beauty must be within everyone’s reach.
